Your personal tour guide will share tidbits and trivia about the Park’s stewards over the years, the impact of WWII on the Japanese Tea Garden, and the story of the park’s historical transformation from bleak sand dunes to today’s lush vista.
We are the only authorized and permitted Segway Company in Golden Gate Park. Guided tours are the best experience – With our tour guides and headset narration you won’t get lost and miss the best sights and off the beaten track corners of the park.

Closed on December 25, January 1st and during major public events in the Park.
All tours start on time, so please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. For the safety and complete training of our guest late arrivals will not be allowed to join a tour that has already started training. Please be on time.

Activity is 3 hours including training.
Training is 30 to 35 minutes,
Ages 12 and up over 100 lbs (45kg) and under 250 lbs.(113 kg) are welcome. No weight exceptions.
No pregnant guests.
Not recommended for some guests over age 70 or with mobility, motor control or recent surgeries.
Under 18 with parents or guardian.

Golden Gate Park Location: 82 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive San Francisco, CA 94118 Look for Segway next to the Bike rentals in paved area directly behind the large band stage in Music Concourse. Near the Japanese Tea Garden, California Academy of Science and deYoung Museum.
After 30-35 minutes of fun training on how to safely operate the Segway, you’ll explore Golden Gate Park with a fully narrated tour. Park Tours are limited to eight riders per guide.
